November weekends

Its that Haloween time of year here. I don't remember the last time I carved a pumpkin. At least 25 years.

Maddy dressed up in a Friesian custom, which I've come to learn in the American language is Holstein.

We try to get out once a week for a good hike with the chariot. JD Grant park is nice this time of year.

Although if you're into fishing you may want to skip it.

Maddy took her first "selfie" although I think in one foul swoop she also archived some email, and who knows what else. She barely touched it for a second.

Rev Danny and Taryn came to visit for the weekend. We took took them up Mt Tam, and David took us all on a good vigoruous hike, in the Marin water shed lands.

There are some cool artifacts up on the mountain, rock chairs, airplane parts and fungus.

We even found some areas that weren't parched by the drought.

Of course it wouldn't be Mt Tam without jumping off and landing on Stinson beach.

It was a beautiful evening flight.
