Elkhorn Slough paddle

Nice weather for a paddle and the tides were right for putting in at Moss Landing.
The trick is to : find a wind free day; paddle inland with the tide, have a leisurely lunch at Kirby Landing while the tide turns, then float back out.

Or on a day with a sea breeze (most days) start morning time at Kirby with an outgoing tide; Float out with the wildlife; have lunch at the harbor while the tide turns and float back in with the tide and the wind. See the yellow line.

Wildlife was quiet between migration patterns. There were plenty of otters and seals though.

New Year's resolution ?

I have been thinking of starting Blog for a while just to share pictures if nothing else. Mostly they will be hang gliding, kayaking and cycling. So here goes my first post.

Sunday I flew locally and snapped a few shots. Cloudbase was about 1000 MSL and you could fly up the sides about 400'. Fun day, Steve, Mark and Bob were also out.

Well that was pretty easy, I'll try to update once a week or so.
Cheers !
